Jessie J is a fan of healthy grub, so it's unsurprising that she's tucking into a big block of vegetarian tofu made from soy bean curd.
This bland high-protein source needs a bit of extra work if you want to make it taste nice, but when fried until golden brown it really pads out a Chinese stir-fry or a warm green bean salad.
Loads of people hate tofu because of its strange texture - yes, it's kind of squidgy and soft, which is why frying works so well. It's great for vegetarians who are sick of eggs and beans, but it's still highly-processed so don't go eating too much.
Jessie has been frying her tofu in a mixture of spicy oils and chillies, here's a similar recipe to turn your tofu from terrible to tempting...
Quick and simple chilli fried tofu
You'll need: One block of extra firm tofu, cut into cubes; one red chilli; two cloves of garlic; salt and pepper; chilli oil; one bell pepper sliced; two spring onions, chopped and a dash of brown sugar.
Instructions: Chop the red pepper, spring onions, garlic and chilli and fry in a little chilli oil for a few minutes or until the pepper is softened. Throw in the cubed tofu with salt, pepper and a tsp of brown sugar. Fry until the tofu is golden brown on the outside (roughly five minutes) and serve with noodles or rice.
