Kate Middleton recovers from royal birth with a well deserved pizza

After 11 hours in labour, Kate Middleton's first meal as a new mum was a much needed pizza takeaway.

Royal close-protection officers were spotted at 8.45pm delivering two pizzas from chain restaurant Zizzi's Paddington branch - not too far from St Mary's Hospital where Kate gave birth.

The officer was also carrying a brown paper bag. We're presuming it contained dough balls.

After spending the day in labour – the sustenance will be much-appreciated by the Duchess of Cambridge and husband Prince William.

Giving birth is exhausting (stating the obvious) so it's important to stock up on food to help the body recover and prevent nausea. Those cheesy carbs are well earned KMiddy.
