Replacing beer with iced teas, and cocktails with mocktails – Redemption Bar aims to create 'a space away from temptation that still feels like a treat. We're challenging the convention that we need alcohol to lubricate every social occasion,' so says it's website.
Being hailed as a 'pure party' the pop up bar will be taking up residency at Netil House in Bethnal Green, East London, for the summer. Kicking off this weekend (July 21), it will offer organic, vegetarian health food, and chilled out DJs alongside it's fruit infusions, teas and 'classy mocktails.'
Even if your blood is made up of 50 per cent gin most days, the 360 degree panoramic views from it's rooftop space may be enough to tempt you away from that glass of chardonnay for an evening. Maybe.
Does a party that's 'all nice and no naughty' appeal to you?
Could you go to a booze free bar?
Yes, I often go booze free on a night out. Sure - why not, sounds interesting. No. Don't be ridiculous. Mama needs her jiggle juice. I'm drunk right now.
