So you've got this idea stuck in your head that feeding each other sweet treats in the bedroom will be the epitome of sexy. You've probably got visions of white silk drapes billowing in the breeze as he feeds you grapes à la Greek Gods.
In reality there are two things NO ONE wants to experience when they're getting busy; gross sticky lips and fingers and crumb filled sheets. The sexiness of food as foreplay is quickly overshadowed by how annoyingly impractical it is in real life.
If you still want to give it a try here are three things to consider...
1. Be creative
Don't give in to the cliché - it's either go hard or go home (no pun intended...okay it was a little bit intended). Make like Samantha in Sex and the City and turn yourself into an elaborate sushi plate. Use chocolate spread and lick it off his chest, wear blindfolds and feed each other aphrodisiacs or get experimental with a can of whipped cream...
2. Don't be an idiot
Put an extra sheet on your bed that you don't mind messing up and whatever you do don't get anything full of sugar near your genitals. That chocolate-penis trick you thought was a great idea won't be looking so hot when you've got a serious case of thrush. If you are going to use food on each other's bits have a hot shower before you get down to it.
3. Experiment with hot and cold
If you're not sure about food but what to stay within the kitchen-bedroom theme, give ice cubes a try. Alternate between running your hot tongue against his chest before swapping to an ice-cube. The difference in temperatures is a great way to build tension and send the right kind of shivers down his spine.
