If you're addicted to sat-fatty foods like pizza, burgers, chips and cakes you might want to spare a thought for your cholesterol levels.
This waxy substance is found it junk food, but it's also produced naturally by the liver. Cholesterol is needed to make vitamin D and some hormones, build cell walls and create bile designed to digest fats. The liver is designed to work, and work well, so don't go assuming that the occasional burger can 'boost' your cholesterol levels.
Even if you never ate another cheesy chip for the rest of your life, you'd still produce enough cholesterol naturally to digest fat.
