Now that the sun has finally come out to play we've all been merrily skipping out of work towards the nearest restaurant or beer garden. This is great fun (obviously) but too much of a good thing can wreak havoc on our delicate livers.

Modern society has given most of us an over-burdened and over-processed liver, which means the poor old organ has to work day and night to flush toxins, processed grub and fried foods out of our systems.

When the liver is taxed it can't process toxins and fat in the most efficient way, which means we're left feeling sluggish, bloated and just a bit rubbish. Luckily there are an arsenal of food stuffs that can stimulate the liver to work more efficiently...

So if you're overloaded, overload your plate with these instead...
