Karl Lagerfeld isn't afraid of a collaboration or two, having worked with H&M, Shu Uemura, Diet Coke and Melissa shoes among others.
But it seems there are some things Chanel's main man will not put his name to.
Talking in an interview with French magazine Madame Le Figaro, Karl joked about collections he won't be doing anytime soon, "Toilet paper? Support stockings? Condoms?"
Yes he's putting condoms and support stockings in the same category.
"But maybe. You know, I am mainstream. This exclusivity, it's old-fashioned. The product has to defend itself," he added.
Oh and if you were wondering what makes Karl tick, he also told the mag, "Things that are not happening as I wish [make me angry]. The things that take time. And people who say they are bored, even though I don't spend time with these kinds of people.
"I think that it's a crime to say you are bored when time is so precious and there are so many things to do in life: read, learn, watch."
So the world with have to hold on to the Lagerfeld condom dream for a little while longer yet...
