Pippa Middleton has been announced as the brand new face of Waitrose and her first duty involves writing a monthly column for the magazine.
The first of Pippa's foodie thoughts will be shown in the April issue under the title 'Pippa's Friday Night Feasts'.
Last year Pippa's first cook book Celebrate failed to cause a buyers surge during the pre-Christmas rush. It was later dubbed a 'royal flop'.
Some critics argue that Pippa is a poor choice to replace seasoned expert Delia Smith who was dropped from her role as Waitrose's spokeswoman.
'Pippa's Friday Night Feasts' will advise on the best meals for getting the weekend off to a sociable start, while imparting some of her own 'passion and enthusiasm for food and entertaining'.
She told the latest issue of Waitrose Kitchen magazine, "I'm delighted to be writing for Waitrose Kitchen, a magazine that's always been a source of inspiration to me."
