David Beckham is teaming up with his bessie mate Gordon Ramsay to open a restaurant near London's foodie hotspot, Borough Market.
Union Street Café is set to open in September and will focus on 'Mediterranean-influenced food with a daily changing menu' according to top chef Gordon.
Yesterday Ramsay held a press conference to announce the launch of his (soon to be very successful) eaterie.
He admitted, "We're really excited to be opening Union Street Café in September and it's great that David wants to come on board. We've been working on the new site, which is near Borough Market, for the past couple of years and the amazing large warehouse space will offer quality Mediterranean-influenced food with a daily changing menu."
Life if getting pretty hectic for the Beckham clan, so we just hope the famous family haven't bitten off more than they can chew.
Brand Beckham now includes an illustrious footballing career, a Burberry boy, two fashion lines, a H&M underwear campaign, multiple fragrances, the David Beckham Academies in London and LA and a restaurant!
We reckon David will be looking forward to a touch of the Mediterranean after five months chowing down on French gastronomy in Paris. We wonder if he's a snails fan?
