We never thought it was possible to fall in love with a plate. Until now…

French fashion house Christian Lacroix has designed a new range of china featuring pretty butterflies and bold stripes. And we want it all.

Collaborating with Portuguese brand Vista Alegre, the new collection of porcelain tableware has been designed by Chrisitan Lacroix Maison's creative director, Sacha Walckhoff.

The designs feature watercolour stripes, mosaic patterns, drawings of 19th century monuments and a 'butterfly parade' of real and imaginary butterflies in flight.

The brand has previously launched several décor collections including textiles, wallpapers and stationary but this will be their first range of tableware.

We have plate and tea cup lust.

The range will be available from Vista Alegre Atlantis this month, with prices ranging from between 20 and 5,000 euros depending on the piece.
