It's a common misconception that men are always naff at buying presents...apparently.
According to online dating website, Cupid.com, men are better at buying Christmas gifts for new partners than women.
But we all know what it's like. You've only been with your new bloke for a month and now you're surrounded by festive cheer with absolutely no idea what to buy him - or even if you should buy him something at all.
Cupid.com has discovered that men aren't affected by this agonising inner turmoil and that they're willing to splash some serious cash for their new lady friend.
32% of the women surveyed said they wouldn't spend a penny on their new beau, while only 26% of men said the same thing.
But the biggest differences were noticed when 22% of men said they would spend more than £100 on a new partner, while only 5% of women gave the same answer.
Over £100! Where do we get one of these swish spenders?
Spare a thought for those blokes who end up buying a rubbish gift though - 11% of women said they would dump a man who bought them something they didn't like.
