Break-up on aisle three as 61% of people argue when shopping…

Fighting couple
One in two couples can't bear shopping with their partner and choose to shop alone for fear of having a bust-up.

A study found that disagreements over spending and being indecisive means that people are ditching their partner in favour of shopping solo.

One in four people said they had stormed out of a shop, leaving their partner behind at some point after a mid-shop row.

The research carried out by Quidco found that 61% of people in a relationship had fought when shopping with their other half.

48% of people put their rows down to whether the item as 'essential', whilst 35% disagree on how much money to spend.

Other issues included brand, appearance and even the size of an item.
