Fizzy drink giant Pepsi are launching a new soft drink which claims it can block fat from being absorbed.
The drink called Pepsi Special will hit shelves in Japan tomorrow, marketed as a fat blocker for dieters.
The beverage contains dextrin, an indigestible form of dietary fiber.
Research carried out on rats has suggested that the addition of this to your diet can reduce how much fat the body absorbs and lowers cholesterol levels.
Pepsi have not announced whether the drink will go on sale in the UK or Europe.
The company has launched other questionable drinks in Japan including a cucumber and yoghurt flavoured cola and this Christmas they will be selling Pepsi White, which will have the infused taste of tangerines.
Would you try Pepsi Special if it goes on sale here?
