New research has found chicks that stay up late are more likely to have lots of sex, but they probably won't be happy about it in the long term.

New highly scientific research has found women who go to bed early are more likely to get married, but those who stay up late are more likely to get laid.

We don't have no fancy science degree, but surely being awake increases your chances of having sex, no? One would hope.

The University of Chicago however says it is not just about being physically awake, but that women who are night owls have higher levels of cortisol - the risk taking hormone.

Men have plenty of cortisol, which is associated with high energy levels, stress, being sexually stimulated, and taking chances, reports Time.

Women who stay up late have more of this meaning they will probably sleep around more or something.

Whereas virtuous women who get their eight hours a night are deemed more stable, ergo they are more likely to enter into a long term relationship and get hitched.

So there you have it.
