Salmon and oily fish
Salmon, mackerel, trout and sardines are rich in protein and vitamin D, which are the key to strong hair. Omega-3 found in oily fish can't be created by the human body, but 3% of the hair shaft is make up of these fatty acids. If you don't eat, you don't get. If you need even more incentive to eat fish, remember that fatty acids also ensure the natural oils that keep your scalp and hair hydrated are in full working order.
