There's just something about a bald man in a vest we can't say no to.

There are plenty of reasons we still can't get enough of Bruce Willis (even though he's old enough to be our Dad).

Macho and manly, but with a sensitive side and a twinkle in his eye that makes us want to take off that vest and rub his bald head with oil (Come on, it can't be just us...)

Here are just a few of the reasons why we're Team Bruce.

5 reasons Bruce Willis is awesome

1. Yippee kaiyay motherbluffer!
As shooty, fighty NYPD cop John McClane, he's king of the one-liners. (Ignore the cheesy opening sequence on this video and skip straight to 00:31.)

2. He's a big softie
His performance as protective dad Harry saying goodbye to his daughter in Armageddon makes us bawl our eyes out every time. Watch with caution.

3. We want a Brucey petname
We like to imagine him calling us 'Sugar Pop' and humouring us as we ramble on about sexy pot bellies.

We've also adopted his character's habit of taking our shoes off and rubbing our feet on the carpet when we arrive at a new hotel. It's surprisingly satisfying.

4. Bruce is a neat guy
He was pretty amazing on Friends, starring as the father of Ross's student girlfriend Emily. Who hasn't given themselves a pep talk in front of the mirror? A neat guy AND a love machine - we can well believe it, Bruce.

5. He sings. In bizarre situations
Have you ever seen Hudson Hawk? According to Wikipedia, it was an action-comedy co-written by Brucie, and deemed to be so bad that it won that year's Golden Raspberry Awards for Worst Picture, Worst Director and Worst Screenplay.

All we want to know is - has anyone asked him to be on Glee yet?
