We've been prepping for the imminent arrival ofGirls series three by rounding up the life lessons we've learnt so far.

Take a peek at some of of Lena Dunham's wisdom below...

Exercising with your partner doesn't have to be awful

Even though Hannah says she's immune to endorphins, she uses the humble jog to bond with boyfriend Adam. It's really rather sweet.

Sleeping with your boss isn't a good idea

Jessa had an incredibly uncomfortable relationship with a married father of two, who happened to be her boss. Soon afterwards she realised storming through life like a bull in a china shop isn't a great idea, so she got married. Yeah, we were confused too.

Avoid arrogant men like the plague

Marnie is pretty rubbish with blokes, but she hit a new low with this guy.

Sometimes it's worth taking a relationship risk

We wouldn't normally recommend going into a stranger's house and indulging in a 24 hour sex session, but somehow Hannah makes it work. Occasionally a brave relationship risk can be the right move, especially if you need to tell someone how you feel.

The aim is to find someone you can be weird around

Hannah and Adam are pretty much a car crash, but you know it's something special when you can dance like crazy people and still find each other attractive.

Girls stars 20 January on Sky Atlantic at 10pm. Tweet us your favourite moments so far @handbagcom.
