Researchers say it is time for some sexual honesty, as partners can always tell if you're enjoying yourself in bed. You can uncurl your toes now, no one is buying it.

A new study has found that faking orgasms is a pointless exercise as your sexual partner will always be able to tell.

If you think your fake howl can put Meg Ryan to shame, then think again lady. Researchers at the University of Waterloo say men and women can equally predict the level of their partner's sexual satisfaction.

By monitoring and interviewing 84 couples, the study found that on average both men and women had "accurate and unbiased perceptions" of whether the other person was enjoying themselves.

"We also found that having good communication about sexual issues helped participants to understand their partners' sexual satisfaction," added the study's lead author Erin Fallis.

"However, even if sexual communication was lacking, a person could still be fairly accurate in gauging his or her partner's sexual satisfaction," she added.

Really? If that were true, surely there'd be no need to fake it in the first place...Just sayin'.
