We put Alexandra Burke and Cheryl Cole’s new videos into their very own face-off. Which do you prefer? Watch the videos and vote in our poll.

X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole and protégé Alexandra Burke have both released new videos for their debut solo singles. (Not counting Alexandra’s Hallelujah, the winning single from last year’s the X Factor.) But whose is the best?

To settle the argument we’ve put the girls head-to-head in the ultimate music video showdown.

Cheryl’s video is packed full of smoky eyes, playful looks to camera and super close-ups and reminds handbag.com of a cross between a Janet Jackson and Britney music video. There isn’t much story-line, just Cheryl prancing about in 80s inspired scenes and questionable leopard print trousers.

Alexandra’s video seems to have more of a narrative to it, we’re just not sure what the outcome is. Does Alex leaving the bad boys unable to keep up count as a story? But she does have attitude, looks good in leather pants (no mean feat) and can really dance.
