He may not be the most popular man these days, but there's no doubting Michael Jackson's talent for producing perfect pop songs. Billie Jean hit No 1 in February 1983 but only managed to hold on for one week. It was toppled by Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse Of The Heart but, much as we love that song, we firmly believe this was the best No 1 single of the '80s. Shamone.
