Marley And Me
We take a look at Jennifer Aniston's latest film, Marley And Me...
Who’s in it? Jennifer Aniston, Owen Wilson, Eric Dane, Alan Arkin
Directed by: David Frankel
What’s the story?
Newly wed John and Jenny Grogan decide to leave behind the cold winters of Michigan and head south to begin their new lives in Florida. They buy a new house, get jobs on local newspapers and consider starting a family. Unsure of how prepared he is to start a family; John seeks advice from fellow journalist Sebastian who suggests they get a puppy and along comes the loveable, chaotic, troublesome Marley. Amid the mayhem that Marley causes through the years the dog sees the Grogans face the challenges of life, and their ever-growing family.
What’s to like?
Watching the slapstick moments that come into the Grogan’s life in the form of Marley is hilarious, and Marley as a puppy could melt anyone’s heart.
What’s not to like?
The film felt longer than it actually was, and seems to run out of story somewhere in the middle.
Best bit?
All of the jokes, when this film is funny it’s funny!
See it with? Your dog-loving friends
Verdict
A bundle of fun, just remember to take your tissues!!
