In 2007, Emily Parr was removed from the Big Brother house for using the word nigger when talking to her fellow contestant Charley Uchea. In her own defence Emily told BB that she used the same term when talking to all her friends, but BB wasn't in the mood for any more race rows following the Shilpa Shetty/Jade Goody disaster earlier that year. Since leaving the house, Emily has returned to university to study acting and hopes to one day star in a period drama.
