The lunchbox diet revealed

A new diet is in town and it's taking the world by storm. Throwing out all the faddy nonsense that only results in slimmers reaching for the biscuit tin in despair, the new lunchbox diet involves taking a trip back in time to our school days when life, and eating was so much simpler.

A - Z diets - The lunchbox dietBy Becky Taylor

Ask any serial dieter what the number one cause behind their failed diet was and we can guarantee it will be because it left them feeling hungry. Often banning certain food groups and snacking, many diets are just asking for anyone with a love of food to fail. That's where the new lunchbox diet comes in. Allowing its followers to ‘graze' throughout the day as well as eat a healthy breakfast and dinner, the new diet is simple, fuss-free and *gasp* fun to follow.

Devised by Simon Lovell, an ex-overweight, bullied computer geek and fast food junkie, Simon turned his life around and now works as one of the hottest personal trainers and nutritional advisors around, stripping weight from anyone in his path. By incorporating simple techniques anyone can follow, Simon is helping the nation shed weight and regain control of their waistlines and lives.

So how does it work?

As the name suggests, followers need to get hold of a good sized lunch box (you can even use the She-Ra one from your school days if you wish) and then pack it with plenty of delicious, healthy snacks which you can eat throughout the day. The emphasis is on the word ‘healthy' mind, chucking in a few fun-size Twirls and a scotch egg just won't cut it.

To help get you started, the lunchbox diet book is full of really tasty recipes packed with vegetables and protein. The trick is to re-incorporate lots of veggies into your diet rather than see them as the enemy - not good news if you can't bear the sight of a spinach leaf. Thankfully, Simon has realised that a floret of broccoli just doesn't taste as good as a Kit Kat Chunky so he's thought up plenty of delicious sauces to help dieters out. By having a lunchbox full of food sat by your desk all day reduces the chances of you falling off the wagon and heading to the vending machine.

How soon will I see results?

By following the plan you could lose up to a stone in just four weeks. Check out www.lunchboxdiet.co.uk

for inspiring testimonials from other dieters who have managed to lose a staggering amount of weight just by following the simple principles in this diet. As well as a smaller waist you should also start to see your skin improve as well as gaining higher energy levels within a week, definitely something to think about if you feel like you're about to slip into a coma every afternoon.

What's a typical day on the lunchbox diet?

Start the day off with a healthy breakfast such as a bowl of muesli, porridge or poached eggs on wholewheat toast. As well as plenty of tasty snacks in your lunch box a typical lunch would include Simon's trim turkey salad with feta cheese, watermelon cubes and sesame seeds. A lunchbox day dinner would be something healthy and nutritious such as poached salmon with a serving of vegetables and dressing.
