We're sorry to be the bearers of bad news, but it looks like the selfie trend isn't going anywhere soon.
In fact it's just been picked up by ABC for a new TV show, aptly called Selfie. Original or what?
Apparently the new comedy, starring Dr Who's Karen Gillan, is a modern day take on My Fair Lady.
It follows social media addict Eliza Dooley, who realises she doesn't have any friends in real life and wants to connect with people in a real, meaningful way, especially after a humiliating video of her went viral. Cue tiny violins.
Like any celebrity worth her salt, she hires a marketing expert to 'rebrand' her. We assume he is the equivalent of Professor Higgins.
Seriously though, anyone else sick of the selfie trend? Tweet us your thoughts @handbagcom
