The increasingly outspoken singer, Lily Allen, let Glamour Magazine in on the reasons for her comeback after a two year hiatus.
In the interview, she explains how the perks of the job had something to do with it...why are we not surprised?
She admitted that being a stay-at-home mum was not the life she wanted.
'I wasn't good at staying at home all day, it didn't suit me. I'm creative...I missed the positive feedback about my music...I missed the rush of performing. I missed the free clothes and handbags and the good tables in posh restaurants..!'
So would we. Go figure.
She also revealed that she was worried about the effect it would have on her family life and her relationship with her hubby.
"I was really worried about working and the pressure it was going to put us under...It was a tough decision to make, a scary adjustment, and for the children. But my relationship with my husband is as strong as it's ever been. It's lovely to come home to."
But what about all the controversy surrounding her new album, Sheezus? Is she just playing up to further help her comeback, then?
OK, that might be a dumb question.
