The video wasn't actually made by Cher herself mind. Unsurprisingly the Twerk off routine has been taken from an underwear advert by American brand Andrew Christian.
The songstress tweeted the video link saying 'Some friends made me a present for 'Take It Like A Man''.
No word on whether this will become the official music video. Fans on Twitter seemed quite happy with the whole thing...
@cher that's a gay exploitation video and I love it. It's in your face literally— richard (@howe2cher) November 20, 2013
Elsewhere however, people were quick to point out this is all about objectifying men.
Possibly the gayest Cher video you've ever seen http://t.co/AE3vzFTmXG— elliot herman (@els76uk) November 21, 2013
Readers posted on Jezebel.com, ''Tis the season for objectifying men... I'm not complaining. But seriously, is this what we've come to?'
Another said, 'This is an ad objectifying men, but also made by men, for men, who like men. What do MRAs [Men's Rights Activists] think about that?'
