A mother has been documenting her baby son Beau's sweet napping routine with new puppy Theo. Unsurprisingly, it went viral.
Initially we thought these snaps were like pro-child propaganda sent directly to target our uteruses - but in actual fact, we think we just want a puppy.
No seriously, we really, really want a puppy. Now.
The other questions we had to ask were:
a) Where do we get some of those American flag jammies? (below)
b) Is this actually safe?
This debate has been sparked up by celebrity mums before. Let us not forget the row between Peaches Geldof and Katie Price last November, over Peaches allowing her son Astala, who was six months old at the time, to play with her golden retriever.
Katie/Jordan tweeted,"An animal is an animal and that means they can turn on you at any point. All new mums should also remember that dogs can easily get jealous of new babies."
Geldof, now a mum of two, replied, "Funny that Katie Price aka "Jordan" (lol) thinks that I shouldn't allow my gentle, sweet golden retriever dog near his best friend, my son."
"I could say the same thing to her about letting some of the multitude of "boyfriends" she has near her kids. They all seem to be more vicious and far less intelligent than my dog will ever be." Ouch.
While obviously this child is being observed (the mum is taking photos - duh), some suggest that pet owners can increase the chances of contracting a wide variety of illnesses, including worms and fleas, by sharing a bed with dogs.
However, Larry Kornegay, president of the American Veterinary Association stresses that as long as people use their common sense - they'll be fine.
'The benefits of having a pet, whether or not you sleep with it, far outweigh the negatives, which are quite uncommon,' he explains.
Exactly. Now, about this puppy you're buying us...
