Just hours after Lily Allen released her satirical, anti-music industry misogyny smash single Hard Out Here she's been accused of being racist and anti-black feminist.

The star has come under fire from Twitter users for showing her black female backing dancers in a negative light, especially during the mock-Twerking scenes.

Critics claim Lily is 'implying' that only white women can fight for (and hence deserve) the benefits of the feminist movement through the use of provocative black dancers. Check out this blogger's explanation of the issue here.

Take a look at what people are saying...

Instead of taking all this negativity on the chin (when has Lily Allen ever done that?!), the singer-songwriter hit back with a stonking Twitter message stating, "If anyone thinks that after asking the girls to audition, I was going to send any of them away because of the colour of their skin, they're wrong."

You can read Lily's full response to her critics, here.

And Lily's not the only one who thinks the accusations are unfounded. Just take a peek at these, errrr, passionate Tweets of supoport from fans...
