From yodelling to feedback forms, it's X Factor week two...

The X Factor week two didn't disappoint with some great and some, er, not so great moments.

From witty remarks from Gary and tear filled looks of amazement from Louis (again), to a yodel-tastic rendition of One Direction and a soulful Amy Winehouse cover, here are our favourite eight moments from the weekend...

1. 19-year-old Melanie McCabe returned this week for her fourth pop at the singing competition. The judges were visibly wowed with her rendition of David Guetta's Titanium which won her a place in the next round. We love her voice, but was her performance as dull as her outfit?

2. Another returnee, Amy Winehouse-a-like Jade Richards, gave a soulful performance of Back to Black. We agree with the judges that she "lacks spark," but maybe they can help her bring something new to her performance?

3. We were pretty excited to see what 17-year-old Barclay Beale's had in store for us when he promised a yodelling version of One Direction's That's What Makes You Beautiful. That feeling quickly disappeared when he started singing.

4. While searching for the UK's next chart topper is a very serious business, the judges never forget their sense of humour. We loved Gary's comments on Thomas Feely's feedback forms (???) after his questionable performance of Isn't She Lovely. "How was your DJ tonight for your entertainment? Awful. Did you have a good time tonight? No. Please describe our entertainment rate ten out of ten? Zero. Would you use our services again? No," he said. Good ol' Gary.

5. Back on the singing side of things, Luke Friend gave a cracking performance of Queen's Too Much Love Will Kill You with his acoustic guitar. Sharon mouthed to Louis "I love him." Yeah he was good and all that, but let's remember he hasn't washed his hair in over eight months.

6. Boho Abi Alton performed a song about "being a little bit heartbroken" that she'd written about her ex-boyfriend (who is now her boyfriend again). She was understandably nervous, but we loved her heart-felt performance.

7. We have to feel sorry for Euphoria Girls, who made a real attempt to reinvent themselves as "edgier" for their arena audition. They donned disco shorts, spay on leggings and crop tops for a half-naked, breathless performance. Even their family don't look interested...

8. Southampton's Tom Mann was the boy of the night on Sunday with his rendition of Little Mix's How Ya Doing.
