Kourtney Kardashian is hit by a paternity lawsuit from a model who claims that he fathered her child, Mason Dash Disick.

Michael Girgenti is asking for a court ordered DNA test and joint custody of Mason, if he is the father.

According to TMZ who acquired legal documents, Girgenti's suit reportedly states that he had "unprotected vaginal sex" with Kourtney in March 2009 - when she and boyfriend Scott Disick had taken a break from their relationship.

Three-year-old Mason was born in December 2009, nine months after Girgenti claims that he had slept with the reality star.

Kardashian and Girgenti apparently met in August 2008 during a photo-shoot where he says they connected and soon began texting.

Kourtney has hit back at the claims as her lawyer released a statement saying, "This individual has been selling false and fabricated stories to the tabloids for years about Kourtney Kardashian and her son, Mason. Scott Disick is Mason's father."

"We have not seen the reported court filing, but we are informed that this individual has been seeking to get paid to publish his ridiculous pleading. His claims are absurd and this is simply another shameful attempt to gain publicity and profit from fictional stories about my client."

The alleged fling came to light in March on the cover of American tabloid InTouch Weekly.

"After he was born and I saw photos of him, I began to wonder," Girgenti told the magazine.

He added that he tried to contact Kourtney after their fling but she ignored him.

Kourtney is rumoured to currently be pregnant with her third child with Scott Disick.
