We all know how lovely David Beckham looked playing spy on a speedboat at the Olympic Opening Ceremony, so imagine if he considered an actual acting CAREER.
Apparently newly-retired Becks is currently considering a role in upcoming thriller The Secret Service. Sounds like some sharp suiting would be involved, win.
According to The Sun, Matthew Vaughn has written a part for Victoria Beckham's hubby in his new spy movie.
With a little help from Colin Firth, who's already bagged a role in the film, David could be close to signing on the dotted line.
A source told the paper, "Becks was asked by Colin Firth if he'd like to be in the movie but he is yet to fully commit.
"He loves movies and fancies appearing on the big screen - but just as a one-off, not a full-time career."
It's not the first script to land in his lap though, it seems the British heartthrob has been bombarded with movie deals since hanging up his football boots.
But with Michael Caine and Samuel L Jackson also set to star, this could be the big break Becks has been waiting for.
Let's not forget VB already said she thought her husband was destined for the big screen and could even be the next James Bond.
