Just when Lindsay Lohan thought it was all over, a LA Superior Court Judge ruled yesterday that the actress must continue to attend therapy sessions outside of rehab.
Despite her apparently busy schedule, LiLo was given an order of therapy 3 days a week, in a bid to prevent yet another celebrity relapse in the style of Charlie Sheen and more recently Cory Monteith.
CEO and founder of Cliffside Malibu Clinic Richard Taite reportedly suggested that extra therapy for Lindsay would be essential to her making a full recovery, and wrote a letter to the court urging to them to attach legal obligations.
In a document published by TMZ, Taite wrote, "If these sessions are not required by the court and attendance verified once a month to ensure accountability, it is a set up for almost certain failure."
Arrangements have been put in place so the actress will be able to contact her therapist from anywhere in the world, with the option of her 50 minutes sessions being conducted via Skype or telephone when she's out of town.
In a recent interview with Piers Morgan Lindsay said, "Constantly sending me to rehab is pointless...the first few times I was court-ordered to rehab it was like a joke, like killing time."
Hmm, hopefully Lindsay has a different view now that she's finished rehab on good terms? Her therapy and community labour are to be completed by 6 November 2014. Here's to hoping she stays out of trouble!
