It looks as though troubled star Amanda Bynes really has gone and done it this time!
The troubled star's bizarre behaviour has landed her in hospital for a mental health evaluation.
The She's The Man actress apparently sparked a small fire on the driveway of an elderly couple with a rag and a gas canister when she was in Thousand Oaks, California - the same neighbourhood where her parents are said to live.
The authorities responded to the incident after the fire was spotted by a passer-by and Amanda was found nearby.
Eyewitness Andrew Liverpool told E! Online, "I see this girl with her pant leg on fire and a gas can trailing fire through the driveway It looked like her. It sounded like her. She had a wig on," he said.
"I kicked the gas can over and moved it to the middle of the driveway so nothing else would catch on fire.
"She was kind of frantic and discombobulated, and many people rushed over to try to assess the situation and when I looked back up, she was gone."
Andrew claimed the actress tried to hop into a cab with her charred jogging bottoms but the police arrived.
After questioning the actress about what had happened, based on her answers, the police decided to place her on a 5150 hold, an involuntary hospitalisation procedure for mental evaluation, lasting a maximum of 72 hours - the same law which was used upon Britney Spears and Mischa Barton when they had famous breakdowns.
Oh dear, Amanda. What is going on!?
