It's the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who this year, so we're expecting something big. But forget everything you've heard so far as boss Steven Moffat has admitted that he has 'lied' about the upcoming special so far.
Moffat was quizzed at the San Diego fan convention last weekend about whether or not John Barrowman's character Captain Jack would return for the 50th anniversary show, however the man behind Doctor Who remained tight-lipped about the whole thing.
Moffat did go on to reveal a few home truths, saying, "You can't put everybody in the 50th. How do you know what is and what is not in the 50th?
"I have lied my arse off for months. You know nothing so don't make presumptions.
"It's always story-driven. If we have a great idea for Captain Jack, he'll come back. If we don't, he won't."
Erm, okay then. So we officially know even less about the 50th special, apparently.
Meanwhile ex-Doctor Who actress Karen Gillan revealed some surprising news of her own at Comic-Con last week.
