It breaks our heart to say this, but Adele has revealed that she would never perform at Glastonbury, despite the festival's organisers begging her to headline.
The 25-year-old megastar reckons her music wouldn't work at the Somerset festival because it's "too slow".
But apparently, that's not the only reason she won't step onto the Pyramid stage.
Despite being a global star who sings live to millions of fans regularly, it turns out the singer is frightened of the size of the Glastonbury audience.
Adele said, "I will not do festivals. The thought of an audience that big frightens the life out of me. I don't think the music would work either. It's all too slow.
"I'd hate to book a festival and have a f****** anxiety attack and then not go on stage, do you know what I mean?"
No, Adele, we want you on that stage and, unsurprisingly, we're not the only ones.
Emily Eavis, daughter of festival founder Micheal Eavis, has admitted that she would love to have the star headline the festival.
Speaking of her wish list, she said, "We would love to have Adele."
Looks like there'll have to be some arm twisting to convince Adele to play her first festival. Would you love to see Adele headlining Glasto next year?
