Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have received a lot of flack for reportedly naming their daughter North West but fellow new mum Rochelle Humes thinks we shouldn't judge too quickly.
Speaking exclusively to Hangbag.com, Rochelle revealed she isn't judging the pair on their name choice.
She said, "I don't even know if it's true yet. You know what it's like, everyone has sort of run away with it. But I think that a baby's name is a baby's name.
"Once upon a time I'm sure everyone was like 'OMG Rochelle's mum is going to call her baby Rochelle. They might have found that weird."
She added, "That's why I never told anyone my baby name because people will always put you off it until they know the baby.
"Now Alaia's here and that's her name but if I told someone 'Oh I might call my baby Alaia', they might have been like 'Oh that's weird'.
"Someone's always finds reasons to say something about it."
To be fair, Alaia-Mai definitely isn't a name we could have predicted but after Rochelle exclusively revealed how the name came about, we can't help but love it.
What with name-dropping Kanye in The Saturdays' new track, Gentleman, and defending the new parents we think Rochelle might be in KimYe's good books soon.
What do you think? Agree with Rochelle?
