After those terrifying pictures of Nigella Lawson with her husband's hands around her neck hit the papers last week, it sounds as though Nigella has started moving on. (And rightfully so!)
Saatchi, 70, dismissed the whole thing as a 'playful tiff' but Nigella was photographed out and about in London on Friday without her wedding ring and has already moved out of her family home to stay in a rented Mayfair apartment with her son.
A source told the Mirror: "Her heart is bleeding right now. She wants out. Neither she nor Charles are interested in counselling or trying to save the marriage. It seems they're done and she is broken and desolate."
"The marriage has been under strain for some time but the choking incident was the end.
"If anything it is a relief for her that it could all be over very soon. There's a sense she has already moved on in her own head. Rather than dwelling on the past she is already thinking about life without him."
Apparently early separation discussions have taken place with lawyers expecting a divorce to be finalised within 2 years.
