Andrea Begley has won the second series of The Voice UK after blowing away coaches and the general public with performances of My Immortal', 'Hall of Fame' with The Script and a reprise of her blind audition performance of 'Angel'.

Watch Andrea sing with mentor Danny and The Script:

Having beaten Leah, Mike and Matt, Andrea is guaranteed a record deal with Universal and we're sure Danny O'Donoghue will stay on board to help every step of the way.

Watch Andrea reprise her song from the blind auditions:

We're really happy for Andrea and hope she does manage to avoid fading into obscurity like last year's winner Leanne Mitchell.

That said, we're super surprised Leah McFall didn't win! She's been the bookies' favourite throughout and we're sure will.i.am will still help her rush out a single and album.

Speaking to a paper earlier this week, Will said: "Out of every single person that I've seen from last year to this year, Leah is the best artist. You want to call people and put the word out – there's something new in the universe. It's like the golden child, the second coming."
