Chatting on TV show Chelsea Lately this week in America, Conrad confessed that her friends mock her for being old before her time and that she loves nothing more than going bargain shopping and collecting tea sets.
'My friends make fun of me because I collect teacups and saucers,' Conrad, 27, joked. 'Inside I'm like 80.'
She revealed she spends her time frequenting Pasadena Flea Market in California, hunting out inspiration for her fashion collection.
'The quirkiest little things I love…I do it a lot for inspiration for my lines,' she explained.
'I love things that feel found or there's just a little bit of charm to them…especially for your home or something you're going to wear, you don't want it to look like everything else.'
But what does she do with all these tea cups she collects? Not drink tea out them apparently. According to her website, she uses them for storing jewellery.
She explains, 'I am a firm believer in the idea that if you can't see it, you won't wear it.'
'By keeping your favourite flair in a sweet little teacup you will better be able to spot your selection goodies at a glance,' she writes. 'I like to keep watches, rings, and chunky bracelets in teacups and then hang my necklaces for display.'
Noted. If that's got you inspired – here are some tea sets we're coveting at the mo…
