Princess Madeleine of Sweden married American banker Chris O'Neill over the weekend in a show stopping Valentino wedding dress.
Swoon - can there be anything better than a royal wedding dress?
Following in the footsteps of other Valentino brides including Anne Hathaway, Jackie Onassis and royal figures such as Queen Máxima of Holland and Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece - Princess Madeline looked stunning after getting the full Valentino Garavani designer bridal treatment.
In front of 470 guests including Royalty from around the globe, Princess Madeline walked down the aisle at Drottningholm Palace in Sweden, wearing the full skirted silk dress, adorned with ivory Chantilly lace and off-the-shoulder lace sleeves.
As befitting a royal wedding, the train on the dress was four-metres long, with the veil coming in at an impressive six metres. The bride also wore a tiara decorated with fresh orange blossoms.
The designer said, 'Working with Princess Madeleine has just been so easy. She is very lovely girl. She is modern, fun, full of energy and enthusiasm, and she is so beautiful! It has been a pleasure and an honour.'
The youngest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, Princess Madeleine, 30, is fourth in line to the Swedish throne. The couple are presumed to be returning to their home in New York after the wedding.
