Jessica Ennis looked stunning on her wedding day last weekend, as she married boyfriend of eight years Andy Hill.
The pair said 'I do' in a church wedding in Derbyshire, near where they grew up, with Jess wearing an incredible full ruffled dress from renowned bridal designer, Monique Lhuillier.
The 'Legacy' dress from the designer's Spring 2012 collection is a silk white organza gown with a V-neck bodice, and a full A-line tulle ruffled skirt.
She teamed it with a full length cathedral veil and a classic bouquet of antique cream and blush pink roses.
We're not usually ruffled dress kind of girls - but this stunning gown suited the blissfully happy bride perfectly and she looked amazing. We even let out a girlish swoon when we saw the pics.
The heptathlete headed to Brown's Brides in London to find her gown.
'The dress had a simple, sporty top, with a dropped waist and a tulle ruffle skirt,' Caroline Burstein, creative director at Browns, told Vogue.com. 'The top was very flattering to Jessica's athletic body but remained feminine and romantic at the same time. Jessica was a wonderful bride to dress.'
'Monique captures what a modern bride is looking for, her dresses are feminine, soft, and romantic but her collection allows each bride individuality to shine through,' she added.
Jess is in good company picking a Monique Lhuillier dress, as Pink, Reese Witherspoon, Alicia Silverstone and Ayda Field also choose one of the designer's gowns for their big days.
