Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell has become the victim of an internet hacker who leaked 50 pages of her unpublished new novel online.
Political and celebrity hacker Guccifer posted the first draft of Bushnell's new book Killing Monica online along with personal emails between the author and her agent.
Bushnell describes the pages as 'strictly very first draft' in one email sent last December.
To add insult to injury, the hacker then used Bushnell's personal Twitter account to post a link to the leaked pages, writing, 'Here you can read my last book ''killing monica'' first 50 pages, enjoy'
The tweet linked to a Google Drive doc which contained screenshots of emails from Bushnell and the first 38,000 words of her new book.
Gruccifer who still had access to the author's email account, continued to post screenshots of Bushnell corresponding with her agents to try and get the pages taken down.
The unknown hacker has previously targeted family members of George W. Bush and Hilary Clinton.
