JLS have shocked fans by announcing they will be splitting up following five years of success.
The band revealed that they will be calling it a day with the end of their current recording contract and bid farewell with a tour in December and greatest hits album.
'It's just that time,' Aston Merrygold told The Sun. 'We are still best of friends and always will be - but this is the end.'
Expectant father Marvin Humes explained, 'It's an emotional time. There's no getting away from that. We have been through so much together.
'But we have to be mature and look at this decision as a celebration of what we managed to achieve.
'We never wanted to overstay our welcome. We never wanted to be that band where people said, 'Oh, bloody hell. It's JLS again.'
'We wanted to finish on a high. We're finishing with an arena tour - our third arena tour - and that is a massive achievement.
'The last five or so years have been nothing short of incredible,' Marvin added.
Wow. Sad times.
The band's families have been supportive, but are apparently finding the news tough as they have all grown close, 'There's nothing more I love than performing with the rest of the boys,' added Oritsé Williams. 'It's been a massive part of my life and my family's life, especially with my mum. She treats the boys as if they are her sons.'
JLS shot to fame after coming runner-up to Alexandra Burke on the X Factor in 2008, and were famously snubbed by Simon Cowell's record label.
After four and a half years together, they've achieved ten top 10 hits, five No.1 singles, sold 1.5 million gig tickets and have won two Brit Awards. According to The Sun, that makes them the most successful act to come out of a reality TV show.
All four of them having been lining up the next phase in their careers with Marvin making his debut on Capital Radio as a DJ and starting as a reporter for Daybreak, along with wife Rochelle from the Saturdays due to give birth to their first child in May.
Aston has just rapped filming TV show Got To Dance, while Oritsé Williams has set up his own management company for rising talent.
It seems Jonathan Gill has ideas beyond music though as he has bought a deer farm in Scotland.
Let's relive some of the magic together...
