Rumours of Chris Brown and Rihanna planning a summer wedding have been in full force lately but it looks like Chris has put all talk of a summer marriage to a halt.
In an interview with NYC's The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 FM, Chris was asked straight out about the wedding talk.
DJ Angela Yee asked Chris if it's true that he and Rihanna are planning on getting married this summer and he replied, "I'm scared of that word [marriage]," Chris says. "I'll be honest, I'm young! We talk about videos, who hot, what song is dope."
But when asked if he's ready for a monogamous relationship he said, "I keep my thing in my pants. I'm more of a respectable dude. Temptation is crazy, but the risk of losing whatever it is, is even worse. Ya, I'm getting there [believing in monogamy]. I'm at that point."
We will take that as a sign that any chance of a wedding with these two is going to be much further in the future.
In the interview, Chris also took time out to defend Justin Bieber after all his recent troubles.
Chris said about Biebs, "It's a case of how I feel. Being young, having a limitless amount of income to do whatever you want.
"You have nobody who's going to say, 'Hey bro, you look whack right now.
"I feel like the mainstream media, they're going to target the little black boys around him and say this is why he's doing it," the R&B star said, in reference to those in Justin's close circle like rapper Lil Twist.
Chris added, "I'm sure glad I'm not around! I pray for him, I pray for myself. I think we're both great artists, he's like a baby Elvis."
