Say hello to the Swindon crooner set to take over the airwaves with his debut album

Josh Kumra
If your wondering why Josh Kumra sounds like a familiar name then it might be because the singer has already had a Number One hit featuring on Wretch 32's hit song, Don't Go.

Ever since then the young croone has been working on his own material which is a relaxing mix of R&B, soul and pop.

His debut single, The Answer, has been on repeat at Handbag HQ and we're sure you can see why...

We literally want to go into a field and sway around in the sunshine when we listen to that track,

Josh has already taken to the stage in Glastonbury and V festival and we can't help but think the 21-year-old will surely follow in the steps of success as Ed Sheeran and Ben Howard.

Josh in now ready to step fully into his much-anticipated limelight with his debut album Good Things Come To Those Who Don't Wait.

Speaking about the album, "I've always related to emotional songs.

"Those songs connect with me. Not that I'm unhappy or a sadist, but I do gravitate towards hearing people suffering in songs. I like it when I hear pain because it feels more true."

The album features songwriting and production collaborations with Fink, Emeli Sandé, Naughty Boy and Mr Hudson so we know it's going to be amazing.

Josh admitted," We didn't have a brief, we just did what we wanted.

"We had total freedom to mix up soul, blues and gospel songwriting, sometimes with big hip hop beats. But there's no production for the sake of it.

And ultimately it comes down to me, the bedroom singer-songwriter with a guitar in my hand. That's what I wanted to come across."

The Answer will be released on 14 April 2013. Find out more on his official site!
