Nadine Coyle has admitted that she didn't have anything to do with the decision for Girls Aloud to split up.

The singer revealed that she wanted the girl group - who recently told fans that they were going to split - to continue after their Greatest Hits tour.

It's not been revealed exactly why the girls have decided now is the time to part ways but speaking to The Sun, a source said, "They feel like now is the right time to bail out.

"They know they can't be on tour and wearing the outfits they wear on stage when they're mothers."

But all things are good in the GA camp as they celebrated the end of their time together with a huge night out in Manchester that kept going to 6am.

Towards the end of the night, the girls danced on their own in a circle for 45 minutes where they hugged and held hands.

Meanwhile, the band recently announced plans to broadcast their recent UK tour on MTV next week so we can all say our final goodbye to the pop group!

Are you surprised Nadine wanted to keep the band together?
