Jessica Alba has dismissed rival healthy book author Gwyneth Paltrow in an interview saying the actress is not as grounded because she grew up 'with a bunch of money.'
Not content with having a pop at Gwyneth's privileged upbringing, she also dragged Alicia Silverstone's The Kind Diet philosophy into the mix. Speaking to New York Daily News about her new clean-living book, Alba said, 'Alicia Silverstone is a vegan, so she's the extreme side of it.
Gwyneth Paltrow probably lives a very similar lifestyle, but I didn't grow up with a bunch of money, so my tips are much more grounded: Repurposing things and making things at home.'
The Fantastic Four actress is currently promoting her new healthy lifestyle book, The Honest Life, which contains recipes, household tips and parenting advice from an eco aware standpoint.
The snipe comes after Gwyneth received a world of criticism for saying she doesn't feed her children carbs in her new book, It's All Good.
Sounds like it's organic vegetables at dawn ladies.
What do you think? Does Alba have a point or is she equally out of touch with working mums?
