You may not think you know Mikky Ekko but you've been hearing his voice alongside Rihanna on their hit duet, Stay, for a few months now.
The moving song has made waves worldwide and introduced our ears to the singer's amazing talent.
Mikky wrote the track but was a bit freaked out when he'd heard Rihanna had recorded the track as it had such a personal meaning to him.
A quick listen to his work on YouTube reveals more soulful, blues-tingled tracks that are just a bit mesmerizing.
Born John Stephen Sudduth, Mikky recently signed to RCA records and actually cites his parents' church involvement as an early musical influence (his dad was a preacher).
Soon he started writing songs for other artists and eventually decided to pursue a career in singing while living in Nashville.

The R&B newcomer has had to cancel his upcoming slot opening for Jessie Ware's UK tour so he can finish up his début album. But he did hint that he wants to duet with the singer in the future so we can only hope she features on his upcoming EP!
We think now's the time to get to know about this guy so you'll be ready for him when he begins to dominate the charts.
We think you should relive RiRi and Mikky's Grammy performance of Stay because it's not everyday an artist performs at the Grammys before they've even released an album!
