Another day, another Fifty Shades of Grey film detail that makes us wish they never announced the film was being made until it was actually finished.
Every actor in Hollywood has been linked to the lead roles and the script is promised to keep all the kink that made the novels but now we've learnt that the flick isn't even going to hit the big screen until Summer 2014.
Universal Pictures Chairman Adam Fogelson has described the film as the studio's "absolute priority", and has suggested that a release could be on the way "sooner" than anticipated.
He said, "I don't believe that [E.L. James] had any interest in going to a studio where rushing it into production was the vision. I don't believe that the second or third film would have benefited from that strategy.
"And I think that there are totally legitimate questions about what this book is as a movie. I will tell you that it is an absolute priority for us. It's conceivable that we could be ready to release it as early as next summer."
The only positive we can take from the news is that casting WILL be happening pretty soon to stick to that release date!
