Helen Mirren and Anthony Hopkins in a film together, what's not to love?
Hitchcock as a person was almost as interesting at the films he created and while the BBC drama "The Girl" focuses on his meaner side, this film shows us a vision of the complicated love story he had with his wife.
While we may never truly know what exactly went on in Hitch's brain, this film helps you feel like you can make a pretty good guess all while being surprisingly playful and funny.
We honestly have no complaints about this film. The performances are stellar, the script is solid and the finished product is thoroughly enjoyable.
It's Hitchcock's behaviour that would be the cause of any complaint once someone has seen this flick.
Verdict: A great film that brings one of film's biggest influencers to life in a way you never expected...
P.S. We totes have to rewatch Psycho now we can fully appreciate all that went into making it.
Hitchcock is out in cinemas now
